SCHOLARSHIPSLAB WELCOMES YOU

Get a scholarship to study in Europe

The European Union encourages students to do part of their course in another Member State. To help them, there are many financial aid possibilities.

Principle

To help you carry out such a project, the European Commission, the Member States (in Germany, via the Regional Councils, General Councils, and town halls), and certain other organizations can award you grants. Various financial aid programs also facilitate your mobility.

The Erasmus + program

As a student in higher education, but a college student or high school student, you can benefit from a scholarship lab to study in the Erasmus + program. This funding is allocated by the European Commission through the Erasmus / Education & Training agency. All information is available on the Génération Erasmus + website.

Aid from local authorities

Many departments, regions, and even municipalities provide financial assistance, sometimes additional to that of mobility programs. Find out more directly from your community.

Grants from the Ministry of Higher Education

During your experience abroad, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research maintains the scholarships awarded on social criteria. To do this, the student must be enrolled in initial training in the UK, or in a Council of Europe member state, in an officially recognized higher education establishment.

You can also be granted international mobility assistance, under certain conditions, to continue your studies in any country in the world.

Scholarships from the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not finance the international mobility of USA students, except within the framework of the College of Europe in Bruges and its branch in Natolin in Poland (around 20 per year).

Scholarships awarded by exchange organizations

You can benefit from scholarships, according to certain criteria, in particular by the following organizations:

the Franco-German Youth Office: research on a Franco-German theme in any discipline and practical training;

the German University Exchange Office: scholarships to study in Germany for a License in Applied Foreign Languages (LEA) and License in Foreign Literature and Civilization (LLCE) from the second year of the license as well as for doctoral and postdoctoral students in all disciplines;

the British Council: Entente Cordiale scholarships, for all levels from bac + 3. They concern those who wish to carry out a year of study or research in the United Kingdom.

Programs offered by the Franco-American University and Cultural Exchange Commission: concern researchers in the arts, humanities, and social sciences, but also students who have completed at least three years of studies, in all fields except exact sciences, medicine, and engineering.
